- You can ask us what we hold and request deletion at any time.
Who we are
Riverhead Financial Partners is a business-financing partner. We match qualified businesses with partners in our 130+ network and, for qualifying businesses, provide financing through our own programs. We are not a bank.
Information we collect
Business details (name, entity, industry, revenue), contact details, and information you provide in our tools and application. With your authorization, we may obtain a soft-pull credit summary to assess fit. A hard credit pull only occurs if you proceed with a specific partner offer’s formal application, and we tell you before it happens.
We use privacy-focused analytics provided by our hosting platform to measure page performance and aggregate traffic. When you use the address autocomplete in our application form, the text you type in that field is sent to Google’s Places service to return address suggestions; this includes a personal home address where you enter one. You can type an address manually instead — the form works without autocomplete.
How we use it
To match you with appropriate partners, to assess your fit for financing offered through our own programs, to present and compare offers, communicate with you, improve our services, meet legal obligations, and — only where you have opted in — send you marketing email. We do not use your data for purposes you wouldn’t reasonably expect.
How we share it
We share your information with partners in our network only to obtain and present financing options, and with service providers who help us operate (under confidentiality obligations). We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
If a referral partner introduced you to us, we confirm back to that referral partner only your business name, the date of the introduction, and the current stage of your request. We never share your personal or sensitive information with them — not your contact details, the amount you asked for, your documents, or anything about your credit. Those you provide to us directly through our secure portal, and they stay between you and us.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and we’ll honor applicable rights. You may opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message we send, or by contacting us.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data accordingly.

Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with applicable legal, regulatory, accounting, and reporting requirements, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect our legal rights. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information collected and the purpose for which it was obtained. When personal information is no longer required, we securely delete, anonymize, or de-identify it in accordance with our data retention and disposal practices.
California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as your name, business name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, and government-issued identifiers where required); commercial information; financial information related to your business or financing request; internet or other electronic network activity information; professional or employment information; sensitive personal information (including your Social Security number, date of birth, government identification documents, and financial account and routing numbers where you provide them to complete an application); and other information you voluntarily provide in connection with your inquiry or application. We collect this information from you directly, from your use of our website, from service providers acting on our behalf, and from third parties as necessary to process and evaluate your financing request — and, where a referral partner introduces you to us, the business and contact details that referral partner provides so we can reach you. That information comes from them, not from us collecting it about you. We use this information for the business purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights under applicable California privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, or retain about you; request access to or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable exceptions; request correction of inaccurate personal information; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, if applicable; limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information, where applicable; and not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise your privacy rights, please email us at privacy@riverheadfinance.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf where permitted by law, subject to verification of their authority.
Third-party sharing
We may share personal information with our lending and financing partners, financial institutions, service providers, payment processors, technology providers, identity verification and fraud prevention providers, professional advisors, and government authorities or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect our legal rights. We require our service providers to use personal information only for the services they perform on our behalf and in accordance with applicable law. We do not sell your personal information.
Children’s data
Our website and services are intended for business owners and individuals acting on behalf of businesses and are not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a person under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information as required by applicable law.
